In the early hours of a Sunday morning in Lexington, Kentucky, a confrontation at a Shell gas station at the intersection of Broadway and New Circle Road turned fatal, claiming the life of 19-year-old Michael Hanley. The young white male sustained a gunshot wound during the altercation on September 13, 2009, and was rushed to the University of Kentucky Hospital, where he ultimately succumbed to his injuries.
