On a late winter evening in Lexington, Kentucky, the sound of gunfire shattered the quiet of a neighborhood bordering Green Acres Park. When police responded to reports of shots fired around 10:45 p.m. on Monday, March 18, 2019, they discovered the body of William Michael Haskins, a 42-year-old male. He was found deceased on a trail between two homes on Kirk Court, having sustained multiple gunshot wounds.
