On August 20, 2024, a fatal shooting occurred on Delaware Avenue in Lexington, Kentucky, resulting in the death of 24-year-old Daquan Collins. The incident began with a verbal dispute, prompting the Lexington Police Department to be dispatched to the 900 block of Delaware Avenue at 5:06 p.m..
