On October 24, 2024, a fatal shooting occurred at the Canter Pointe Apartments on Tates Creek Road in Lexington, Kentucky, resulting in the death of 20-year-old Jadyn Ray Sleet of Georgetown, Kentucky. The incident happened around 10:30 p.m., with gunfire reported at the apartment complex near the intersection of Armstrong Mill Road.
