In the winter of 2022, the life of Erwin James Jacob Sr., a 50-year-old Black male, was tragically cut short in Louisville, Kentucky. On the evening of Friday, January 14th, officers were called to a building in the 4100 block of West Broadway. Inside, they discovered Mr. Jacob, who had sustained multiple gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene around 7:15 p.m.
