In the summer of 2016, the life of 29-year-old Donte Jefferson was tragically cut short. On the night of Tuesday, June 21, 2016, Jefferson was inside an apartment on Rodman Street near Churchill Downs in Louisville, Kentucky, when a gunman entered and opened fire.
