In the winter of 1986, a young man's life was cut short in an act of senseless violence in downtown Louisville, Kentucky. Michael R. Green, a 26-year-old male, was working as a uniformed off-duty security officer at a local nightclub on the evening of Sunday, January 26th. That night, he assisted other officers in removing several disorderly individuals from the establishment. This routine act of maintaining order would tragically lead to his untimely death.
