Bernard Drivdahl, aged 62, passed away on September 30, 2019, in Benson, Minnesota. Drivdahl, a convicted felon, was on his way to turn himself in to the Swift County Jail for a warrant related to possession of ammunition. The incident occurred around 8 p.m., approximately two miles east of Benson on Highway 12. Drivdahl was found dead in the passenger seat of a vehicle, having died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
