Rashad Sherrod, 18, male, was a Greenwood resident who was shot over the weekend and died from his injuries on Monday morning, October 20, 2025. The Leflore County coroner reported receiving a call around 8:10 a.m. from the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson confirming his death, marking the end of a frantic hospital fight that began after the shooting.
