Donald Spells, a 40-year-old resident of Greenwood, Mississippi, tragically lost his life on November 27, 2019. The incident occurred early in the morning, shortly before 8 a.m., when gunfire erupted in the area of McLaurin and Roosevelt streets. Spells was fatally shot during this altercation, marking a significant and somber event for the Greenwood community.
