In the summer of 2019, the life of a young man from Greenwood, Mississippi, was tragically cut short. Kevin Jamal Pulley, a 25-year-old Black male, was found dead on July 4th of that year. The cause of his death was a gunshot wound, and authorities quickly determined that he was the victim of a homicide. At the time of his death, Pulley was an employee at a local company called John-Richard.
