On September 18, 2022, Birahim Bilugeo Gildersleve, a 28-year-old resident of Rochester, MN, was fatally shot in the Loring Park neighborhood of Minneapolis. The incident occurred around 5:20 a.m. on the 1600 block of Harmon Place. Minneapolis police responded to the scene and found Gildersleve suffering from gunshot wounds to his chest and right leg. Despite being rushed to a nearby hospital, he succumbed to his injuries shortly after arrival.
