Gregory Doyle Sweeten, 35, a Black male from Minneapolis, was killed in a midday burst of rifle fire on August 26, 2025, on the sidewalk near East 29th Street and Clinton Avenue, across from Cristo Rey Jesuit High School in the Phillips neighborhood.
