Divittin Casha Hoskins, aged 32, was tragically shot and killed on the evening of July 28, 2017, in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The incident occurred around 8:41 p.m. when officers responded to a 911 call and found Hoskins bleeding from a gunshot wound to the head. The location of the shooting was one block south of North High School. Hoskins was immediately transported by ambulance to Hennepin County Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.
