Gabriel “Dino” Mendoza, a 23-year-old Hispanic/Latino man, was working a Sunday night security shift at Fire House Uptown in Minneapolis on October 16, 2022, when violence broke the weekend rhythm. Around 11:45 p.m., police were called to the bar and restaurant at Lagoon and Fremont avenues.
