Jason Eugene Harwood, a 40-year-old White male, was a Corporal with the Topeka Police Department who was killed in the line of duty on September 7, 2014. On that Sunday afternoon, at approximately 4:45 p.m., Harwood conducted a traffic stop in the 3200 block of SE Sixth Avenue in east Topeka.
