In the autumn of 2016, the life of a young Black/African American man, Treondus Lee Wilson, was tragically cut short at the age of 21. On the evening of Tuesday, October 25, 2016, in Topeka, Kansas, Wilson was fatally shot. The incident occurred at a residence located at 2112 S.E. Market. Authorities were called to the scene following a report of a domestic disturbance. Upon their arrival, Wilson was discovered and pronounced dead at the scene.
