In the early morning hours of Saturday, February 29, 2020, the life of 51-year-old Kelly Parker Sr. was tragically cut short in Topeka, Kansas. Officers from the Topeka Police Department were dispatched to a residence in the 1400 block of SW Van Buren following a report of a shooting. Upon their arrival shortly before 1:00 a.m., they discovered Mr. Parker deceased inside the home. It was determined that he had sustained a fatal gunshot wound to the head.
