In a tragic turn of events on a Monday morning in Wichita, Kansas, a 27-year-old Black / African American man named Kenneth Alfonso Richards III lost his life. The incident, which unfolded on April 20, 2015, was not the result of a violent crime, but rather a heartbreaking accident. Richards had unintentionally shot himself in the leg.
