He was a beloved husband, father to two daughters and a son, a stepfather to two daughters, and a doting grandfather. His family remembered him as a generous man who loved them deeply and was always the person they could turn to for support in times of trouble and to share in moments of joy.

Despite the ongoing investigation by the Kansas City, Kansas, Police Department, no arrests have been made, and no suspects have been publicly identified. His daughter, Briyana Alvidrez, has spoken about the difficulty of navigating life without her father, whom she considered her "Superman." The family continues to hope for justice and peace.
