In the early morning hours of November 16, 2016, the life of 25-year-old Larance D. Brown, a Black male, was tragically cut short in Kansas City, Kansas. His body was discovered around 7:15 a.m. in the backyard of his girlfriend's residence, located in the 200 block of North 15th Street. An autopsy would later confirm that Brown had sustained a fatal gunshot wound to his back.
