Sharnia Martez “Marty” Robinson, a 42-year-old Black male, was shot on May 27, 2020, in the parking lot of the Regency Inn located near 47th Street and State Avenue in Kansas City, Kansas. When officers arrived at the scene, they discovered Robinson with a gunshot wound. He was transported to a local hospital in critical condition and succumbed to his injuries the following day, on May 28, 2020. Robinson was a resident of Overland Park, Kansas.
