In the summer of 2015, a Fourth of July celebration in Atlanta's Pittsburgh community was shattered by violence, leaving a young man dead. Stephen Murphy, a 23-year-old male, was shot and killed on the evening of Saturday, July 4th. The incident occurred near a birthday party taking place at Pittman Park, where many people were gathered.
