On November 28, 2023, 27-year-old Demarcus Watson was fatally shot at the Budgetel Inn on Circle 75 Parkway in Cobb County, Georgia. The incident occurred around 11:43 a.m. Officers arrived to find Watson with a gunshot wound and attempted life-saving measures, but he was pronounced dead at the scene.
