In the pre-dawn hours of Sunday, October 18, 2020, the quiet neighborhood near Quindaro Park in Kansas City, Kansas, was disturbed by an act of violence that would leave a family grieving and a community searching for answers. Calvin Ronald Cofield, a 36-year-old Black male, was found lifeless near the intersection of North 32nd Street and Sloan Avenue.
