On the afternoon of October 28, 2016, Marco Velazquez, a 47-year-old Hispanic male, was in the 200 block of South Valley Street in Kansas City, Kansas, when he was shot multiple times. Tragically, his 12-year-old daughter was with him at the time of the incident. Emergency services were called to the scene, and Velazquez was quickly transported to a nearby hospital for treatment.
