James Edward Anderson III

In the winter of 2021, the life of a young Black/African American man, James Edward Anderson III, was tragically cut short at the age of 19. On the evening of February 10, 2021, in Topeka, Kansas, Anderson was discovered with multiple gunshot wounds. The Topeka Police Department was called to the scene to investigate the suspicious death. Despite the efforts of first responders, James succumbed to his injuries. His passing sent ripples of grief through his family and the wider community.
