On January 28, 2023, a Topeka, Kansas community was shaken by the violent death of Jason Jeremy Neal, a 48-year-old Caucasian male. The tragic event unfolded at his residence where he was fatally shot multiple times as he slept in his bed. His passing was officially ruled a homicide, prompting an investigation by the Topeka Police Department.
