In the early hours of a cold Monday morning in Washington, D.C., the life of Marcus J. McClam, a 29-year-old male, was tragically cut short. On February 23, 2015, at approximately 12:30 a.m., police responded to reports of gunfire in the 1200 block of Brentwood Road NE. The sounds of violence led them to an apartment building where they would uncover the grim scene of McClam's final moments.
Upon their arrival, officers discovered five shell casings in a rear area of the building, a
