On the evening of August 5, 2026, in a quiet Washington, D.C. neighborhood, the life of 35-year-old Bobby Lee Cannon was tragically cut short. Responding to reports of gunfire at approximately 7:58 p.m., officers from the Metropolitan Police Department arrived at the 2500 block of 41st Street NW to find a harrowing scene.
