In the early morning hours of Sunday, February 27, 2022, the life of 32-year-old Michael Whitehead of Hyattsville, Maryland, was tragically cut short in Northwest Washington, D.C. At approximately 4:48 a.m., officers from the Metropolitan Police Department responded to the 100 block of N Street, NW, following reports of a shooting. Upon their arrival, they discovered Mr. Whitehead suffering from an apparent gunshot wound.
