In the late evening of July 8, 2020, the life of 30-year-old Eugene Anthony Hickson was tragically cut short in Washington, D.C. A male with no fixed address, Hickson was in the 1700 block of Benning Road, Northeast, when gunfire erupted at approximately 9:56 p.m. Officers from the Fifth District of the Metropolitan Police Department responded to reports of the sounds of gunshots in the area.
