In the early morning hours of Saturday, July 6, 2019, the life of 25-year-old Demarco Jones of Waldorf, Maryland, was tragically cut short in Southeast Washington, D.C. At approximately 4:50 a.m., officers from the Metropolitan Police Department responded to a report of a shooting in the 400 block of Burns Street, SE. Upon arrival, they discovered a grim scene: an unconscious adult male suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
