In the early hours of a Saturday morning in Southeast Washington, the sound of gunfire shattered the quiet of the 2300 block of Irving Street, SE. When police responded to the reports just after 1 a.m., they discovered a grim scene. Two individuals had been struck by bullets. One was 29-year-old Anthony Andre Osgood, a resident of Southeast D.C. He was found suffering from gunshot wounds and was rushed to a local hospital, but his injuries proved to be fatal, and he was pronounced dead.
