On a Monday morning in Washington, D.C., the sounds of gunshots shattered the peace of the 400 block of Ridge Road, Southeast. When officers from the Sixth District arrived at the scene around 11:21 a.m. on November 13, 2023, they discovered a man suffering from gunshot wounds. The male victim was 52-year-old Marcus Little, a resident of Southeast, D.C. Despite the efforts of first responders, he was pronounced dead at the scene, leaving a community to grapple with the sudden and violent loss.
