Roger Lewis Haggins, aged 30, was tragically shot and killed on January 8, 2016, in the 2500 block of Pomeroy Road, SE, Washington, DC. The incident occurred around 11:30 PM, and Haggins, who was from Fort Washington, Maryland, was found by members of the Metropolitan Police Department's Seventh District suffering from a gunshot wound. He was transported to a nearby hospital in critical condition but unfortunately succumbed to his injuries shortly after.
