Death by Force

On the evening of January 19, 2021, Metropolitan Police Department officers discovered 32-year-old Tyrone Wright in the parking lot of an apartment complex in the Mayfair neighborhood of Northeast, Washington, DC. Wright had sustained multiple gunshot wounds to the head, body, and legs, and was pronounced dead at the scene. Another man, who was also found at the scene with a gunshot wound to the upper right leg, was taken to a hospital in stable condition but later died from natural causes.
