In the early morning hours of a summer day in the nation's capital, the life of Edward Roberts Jr. was tragically cut short. On July 30, 2016, the 29-year-old man was discovered in Washington, D.C., suffering from the devastating effects of multiple gunshot wounds. Police responded to the 3500 block of 14th Street in Northwest after reports of gunfire around 3:24 a.m. and found Roberts at the scene.
