In the late hours of a Wednesday night in Washington, D.C., a fatal encounter unfolded inside the narrow aisles of the Lucky Corner Market on Georgia Avenue NW. On November 8, 2017, 22-year-old Jonathan Vilchez, a male resident of Northwest Washington, entered the convenience store. Shortly after, another man, 23-year-old Mario Alfaro, also entered the market with two other individuals.
