On November 2, 2016, at approximately 11:24 p.m., 22-year-old Joshua Wayne Munson, known in the local music scene as rapper "Beverly Deuce," was found unconscious in an alley behind a residence in the 1600 block of T Street, Southeast Washington, D.C. Responding officers discovered Munson suffering from multiple gunshot wounds; he was pronounced dead at the scene.
