In the late hours of a summer night in Washington, D.C., the life of Tracy Lamont Day was tragically cut short. On Friday, August 23, 2013, at approximately 11:12 pm, police responded to reports of a shooting in the 700 block of Langston Terrace, NE. There they found 38-year-old Tracy Lamont Day, a Black male from Bowie, Maryland, suffering from a gunshot wound.
