On the evening of September 13, 2016, at approximately 9:30 PM, Deon Calvin Smith, a 19-year-old resident of Washington, DC, was tragically shot and killed in the 4600 block of Livingston Road, SE. The incident occurred in Southeast DC, an area that has seen its share of violent crime. Deon was found suffering from gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene.
