On April 19, 2021, at approximately 7:57 p.m., Kentrell Devaughn, a 27-year-old resident of Washington, DC, was found suffering from multiple gunshot wounds in a vehicle located in the 1500 block of 45th Street, NE. Despite efforts to save him, Devaughn succumbed to his injuries the following day.
