On February 12, 2024, at approximately 2:41 a.m., Metropolitan Police Department officers responded to reports of gunshots in the 900 block of Shepherd Street, Northwest, Washington, D.C. Upon arrival, they discovered 32-year-old Jeremy Dewayne Johnson, a Southeast D.C. resident, suffering from gunshot wounds. Tragically, Mr. Johnson was pronounced dead at the scene.
