In the summer of 2018, a burst of gunfire on a Monday evening in Northeast Washington, D.C., ended the life of 21-year-old Dion DeMarco Boyd. The fatal shooting occurred at approximately 5:25 p.m. on July 30th in the 1400 block of Maryland Avenue, NE.
