James Eric Ferrell, aged 34, was tragically shot multiple times outside Union Station in Washington, D.C., on the night of October 31, 2018. The incident occurred around 9:48 p.m. on the unit block of Massachusetts Avenue NE. Responding officers from the Metropolitan Police Department found Ferrell suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Despite being rushed to a local hospital, Ferrell succumbed to his injuries, and his death was subsequently ruled a homicide.
