Christopher Thompkins, a 20-year-old from Ellerslie, Georgia, disappeared on January 25, 2002, under mysterious circumstances while working as part of a survey crew in a wooded area off County Line Road. That afternoon, Christopher and his three co-workers were spaced approximately 50 feet apart. One co-worker briefly looked away, and when he looked back, Christopher was gone. His disappearance was sudden, and there were no clear signs of where he went.
