On February 24, 2019, at approximately 1:24 am, David Elijah Brandon, aged 30, was shot and killed in the 4300 block of Georgia Avenue, Northwest, Washington, DC. The Metropolitan Police Department responded to the scene following reports of an assault. Upon arrival, officers discovered that a shooting had occurred, and two victims were seeking treatment at a local hospital for life-threatening gunshot wounds. Despite all life-saving efforts, David Elijah Brandon was pronounced dead.
