In the early hours of a Sunday in Washington, D.C., a dispute escalated into deadly violence, claiming the life of David Elijah Brandon. The 30-year-old man was fatally shot on February 24, 2019, following a large fight that broke out just before 1:30 a.m. outside the Safari DC Lounge located in the 4300 block of Georgia Avenue, Northwest.
