On August 14, 2019, Alonzo Richard Hines Jr., a 20-year-old resident of Washington, DC, was tragically shot and killed. The incident occurred in the 1500 block of 45th Street in Northeast DC. Authorities responded to reports of a shooting and found Hines suffering from gunshot wounds. Despite being transported to a hospital, he succumbed to his injuries.
