On a Sunday morning in October, the semblance of a routine vehicle crash in Southeast Washington D.C. unraveled into a homicide investigation. On October 20, 2024, at approximately 8:47 a.m., members of the Sixth District of the Metropolitan Police Department responded to the 1400 block of 18th Street, Southeast, for a reported crash.
